The Fit and Go Adaptor is one such product, created by AusProof’s Research and Development team in order to assist their clients with two particular key goals: cost reduction and ease of operations. Manufactured using aluminium whilst retaining its mechanical strength and durability, the Fit and Go Adaptor is ideal for use in Non-Ex environments such as tunnelling and hard rock mine sites. Rated at 800 amps with an operating voltage of 11,000 volts, the Fit and Go Adaptor is compatible with AusProof’s 114BKA and 118BKA aluminium high voltage couplers. In collaboration with partner company KableX, the Fit and Go Adaptor arrives ready to be bolted onto your existing RMU, or other requirements you may have, as it comes with pre-terminated leads.

At a commercially attractive price, the Fit and Go Adaptor’s pre-terminated cable tails are 1500mm in length, are rated at 12.7-22kV, and are available in both 120² and 240² cross-sectional areas. The Fit and Go Adaptor has been specifically designed to make installation time quicker and easier. Features of this product include AusProof’s LED Live Line Indicator and handles to assist with good OH&S practices, with available accessories including AusProof’s Slide Hammer, for the installation and removal of the phase connectors.
