In only four weeks-time the curtain will be raised for this year’s Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition & Conference (AOG 2019), Australia’s largest oil and gas event, with a free to attend conference program and exceptional networking opportunities.
Run over three days, this year’s conference will feature an exciting new Drilling & Completions zone, which will include both technical presentations and dedicated exhibition space, reflecting the growth of AOG and an overall uplift in market confidence and industry investment.
“The space will feature the latest products, technologies and services in drilling and well completions from Halliburton, Downhole Products, Inflatable Packers International and the Society of Petroleum Engineers to name a few,” said Event Director, Bill Hare.
Held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, AOG 2019 will also feature its specialised industry zones including Instrumentation Control and Automation, Asset Integrity, Subsea and Health & Safety.
Mr Hare said the oil and gas industry had suffered from a worldwide downturn, but a recovery in global oil prices and Australia’s emergence as one of the world’s largest LNG exporters have set the scene for an insightful conference.
An expanded program has been curated, being run throughout the Subsea Forum, Knowledge Forum and Collaboration Forum.
The topics covered will be centred around the theme ‘An Energy Shift’. This theme highlights the changing trends in the oil and gas industry such as an increase in market sentiment; effective transitioning of projects from construction to operations and maintenance; new uses for liquefied natural gas (LNG); and new energies.
This year’s exhibition will showcase over 250 companies and offers networking areas, giving ample opportunity for participants from academia, industry and government to unveil new technologies, establish new dialogue and opportunities for collaboration.
AOG opens on 13 March 2019. Find out more and register at www.aogexpo.com.au.
