Introducing the EB8160 Heavy-Duty LED beacon.
Designed from the ground up right here in Australia by our engineering team in Launceston, Tasmania. The EB8160 is the result of a passion for performance and toughness.
We say performance because the EB8160 features best-in-class low EMC performance and is backed by CISPR 25 Class 5 certification. Any radiated or conducted emissions are minimal, meaning the EB8160 is built to perform and not interfere with your receiver or radio. The performance also means being bright. SAE Class 1 warning lights are the brightest classification available and are primarily used in emergency lighting (think police, fire or ambulance). Our engineers are experts in this field, and the ability to leverage from our Code 3 brand is a testament to our dedication to bright, safe and effective warning lighting. In addition to brightness, the EB8160 has a completely new TIR optic design, offering a highly dispersed light spread, ensuring visibility from all angles.
In applications such as mining, it’s also essential to ensure our products are not only powerful but built to last. The EB8160 has this at its core with a custom-designed casted aluminium base and a reinforced polycarbonate lens with an acrylic hard coat. The EB8160 is protected to IP67 and IP69K water and dust ingress and tested to operate in extreme temperatures, from -40ºC to 60ºC. We also back this up with our 5-year No-Hassle ECCO Care warranty.
In addition to the above, the EB8160 Heavy Duty Beacon also features 20 flash patterns, including our brand new Pulse pattern and 3 auto-dimming patterns perfect for different lighting environments. It’s load dump protected to ISO 16750-2 Pulse 5a (Class-A) and has multiple mounting options such as 150mm PCD (US), 130mm PCD (Euro) and 107mm PCD (material handling). The EB8160 is certified to SAE Class 1, R10, RCM, CISPR 25 (level 5), RoHS and IP67 and IP69K.
