Ray Mostogl, General Manager of Bell Bay Aluminium has been elected as President of the Tasmanian Minerals and Energy Council Board.
Mr Mostogl has been Bell Bay Aluminium’s general manager since 2011 and has been an active member of the Council during that time. Mr Mostogl has also been a member of a number of State Government expert panels dealing with freight and energy.
In 2013 he was instrumental in helping to establish The Big Picture Tasmania, an industry group advocating for a sustainable business environment in Tasmania.
Former CEO, Grange Resources, Wayne Bould will take up the position of CEO of the Tasmanian Minerals and Energy Council effective this month. Mr Bould replaces acting CEO, Jeremy Kouw.
Tasmanian Minerals and Energy Council President, Ray Mostogl said, ‘The Board wishes to thank Jeremy for his contribution over the last four years to the Tasmanian Minerals and Energy Council and the State’s business community. We wish Jeremy all the best in his new role and look forward to him returning to Tasmania in the future.”
Mr Mostogl congratulated Wayne Bould on his appointment. “Wayne’s background and experience makes him well-suited to the role. He has a long association with the resources sector and will be a forceful and effective advocate for the mining and minerals processing sector in Tasmania.”
