A multinational employer is giving applicants with no experience a chance to work for a coal operation in Central Queensland’s Isaac region.
Inexperienced jobseekers are invited to apply for multiple production operator positions at Anglo American’s Lake Lindsay Coal Mine in MacKenzie River, 256km northwest of Rockhampton.
Anglo recently appointed recruitment agency One Key Resources (OKR) to handle enquiries from prospective candidates for the so-called Entry Level Operators Program.
Click here to apply. Successful applicants will be fully trained and work a day or night roster of either eight on 10 off, eight on six off, or eight on four off. Weekly pay ranges between $46 and $47 an hour plus superannuation. Camp accommodation and meals will be provided.
“One Key Resources are seeking applicants with no mining experience,” OKR said on the SEEK website. “An entry level operator role is a rare and outstanding opportunity to get your start in the mining industry.”
