A coal producer has plenty of work and extra incentives for remote workers who keep turning up for duty.
One of Brunel Mining’s clients still has “truckloads of roles” available for fly-in fly-out (FIFO) jobseekers. The employer is even prepared to pay a $5000 retention bonus for every six months they stay in the job.
The deal includes annual salaries ranging between $141,000 and $157,000, up to $1020 for each overtime shift worked (plus $10 an hour night-shift loading), and a further $1700 paid quarterly. It also includes company paid superannuation, free airport transfer bus services, and free FIFO flights between Gold Coast Airport and Narrabri in New South Wales.
The “right people” also have potential to move to a permanent position after staying in the job for three months. The employer has no coronavirus vaccine requirements.
The following positions are available:
- multi skilled operators – truck, grader and dozer (multiple positions)
- rigid haul truck drivers – electric (multiple)
- diggers (multiple).
They will operate the following equipment:
- EH3500, EH4000, EH5000 and CAT789 trucks
- EX3600, EX5500 and EX8000 diggers
- D10, D11 and 475 dozers
- 16M and 24M graders.
Click here to apply. Successful applicants will receive even-time rosters of 12.5-hour day or night shifts with four on four off, six on four off, and four on six off. Accommodation and meals are also provided.
“We are working with a major coal mine operator in NSW who has a number of long-life mines in the Gunnedah Basin. To get the coal out of the ground they have truckloads of roles,” Brunel said on the Seek website.
